Designed for play, creativity, and everyday use, our Kids Modular Picnic Table brings the same thoughtful design and craftsmanship as our full-scale furniture — just sized for little ones.
Design for children 2-5 years old, it's crafted from high-quality birch plywood, with each piece being finished with a smooth, water-based polyurethane coating. This low-VOC finish is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, offering excellent durability and water repellency. While the surface resists moisture, it is not waterproof, and all liquids or spills should be wiped up promptly to maintain the finish.
The picnic table features a tool-free, fastener-free interlocking design. Each component fits together precisely and is secured using an integrated button-clip locking system, applying pressure to hold the structure firmly in place. The connection is strong enough that children cannot pull the pieces apart, yet simple for adults to assemble or disassemble — no tools required.
This makes the table ideal for:

• Easy transport for camping trips, outdoor events, or gatherings
• Compact storage when not in use
Every edge is smoothly rounded, and the design was carefully considered to minimize pinch points, creating a safer and more comfortable experience for children.

While designed with safety in mind, including rounded edges and minimized pinch points, children should always be supervised during use. We strongly recommend a full inspection of the product once received, as in unfortunate instances, damage can occur from the shipping carrier resulting in abrasive edges, splintering, and/or loose components. This furniture is not intended for climbing, standing, or use by adults. Use only on a stable, level surface. Inspect periodically for wear or damage, and discontinue use if any components become loose or compromised. Pine Bay Design is not responsible for injury resulting from misuse, improper assembly, or lack of supervision.

If you've you purchased custom engraving, please provide us with either option:
• A high resolution .jpg or .png, minimum 300 dpi
• Or provide us with your .ai or .eps files containing the actual artwork
→ Logos need to be high-in-contrast with greyscale appearance (black & white or limited solid color)
→ Gradients or abstract logos (see below) will be denied and a request for resubmission will be sent.
→ Your order will not be processed until a suitable logo is provided.

All of our products are made from wood, resulting in varying grains, colours and pattern characteristics. Please note that no two pieces will be exactly identical. The engraving darkness may also vary due to the varying colours/darkness of the plywood layers in each sheet of plywood.
Our Modular Displays & Furniture are intended to be used in both interior and exterior applications, however, they're not rated for the outdoors. "Outdoors" meaning that rain/snow will negatively impact the wood, and strong wind can knock-over or entirely pick-up the display. If outdoors, it's best practice to have them in a covered area, protected from the elements, along with sandbags or other weighted items to anchor the display on uneven ground or windy conditions. Please be mindful of the weather conditions you're exposing your display/furniture to.
