CONSTRUCTION PORTFOLIO

Our Construction Portfolio showcases the hands-on role we play in bringing projects to life across Western Canada. From templating and detailed shop drawings to full bulkhead packages and custom architectural features, we’ve contributed to a wide variety of commercial construction projects.

This portfolio highlights the scope of services we provide and the collaborative approach we take on-site and off-site. Each project reflects our ability to adapt to unique design requirements, solve complex installation challenges, and deliver precision-built results that align with the overall vision of the space.

By combining advanced fabrication methods with industry experience, our construction work bridges the gap between concept and completion—ensuring designs are not only built, but built to last.

    Scope of Work:

Assisted Alpine Drywall Ltd. with the lobby renovation of 801 7th Avenue (the former Nexen Tower), part of its conversion into learning space for the University of Calgary’s School of Architecture. Our role was to evaluate and produce 33 full-scale CNC templates, each corresponding to a unique curve in the four-tier “social stair” designed by Zeidler Architecture.

The templates were precisely aligned to the heavy-gauge steel stud framing. Since existing gridlines were inaccessible due to remediation of the main floor slab, we developed template layout drawings tied to accessible reference points, coordinating closely with the contractor team to ensure accurate installation.

    Scope of Work:

Partnered with Alpine Drywall Ltd. on the interior fit-out for AltaGas offices (Levels 10–15) within the 707 Fifth Tower, a landmark 27-storey elliptical office building in downtown Calgary. Due to the tower’s sweeping curved geometry, all office partitions followed a continuous 62m radius around the building core, with front and back walls on radius and side walls set to angles aligning with the curtain wall mullions.

Our team developed full-scale 1:1 CNC templates to streamline layout and construction—with some of the templates reaching 4.3m in length. These included a continuously “flippable” office template that could be mirrored across successive offices, along with additional templates for recurring curves across each floor plate. We also produced custom layout drawings referencing accessible points to assist the contractor team in efficiently positioning curved partitions. To support finishing, we manufactured custom CNC-cut HDPE trowels tailored for the curved partition corners, ensuring precise detailing and consistent results.

    Scope of Work:

Collaborated with Alpine Drywall Ltd. on the PwC office fit-out (Levels 29–32) within the Suncor Tower, Calgary. Our scope involved producing 43 unique full-scale CNC templates to guide the construction of numerous curved conditions at partition corners and bulkheads.

A central challenge lay in the curved glazed partition systems that framed the corners of small meeting rooms. These bespoke assemblies were custom fabricated in Spain, relying directly on our templates to achieve precise geometry. On site, Italinteriors coordinated installation using our templated framework, ensuring seamless integration with adjacent finishes.

To support construction and coordination, we also generated a comprehensive set of dimensioned drawings, referencing each template’s location and providing layout guidance for the clustered acoustic ceiling clouds. This ensured accurate placement and alignment across the four-floor buildout, streamlining both framing and finishing operations.

    Scope of Work:

Partnered with Alpine Drywall Ltd. on the tenant improvement for Cassels law firm (Level 37, Bankers Hall West, Calgary), designed by HOK Architects. The project centered on two large, four-tier feature bulkheads — one in the reception area (8.2m x 5.8m) and another in the client lounge (9.5m x 3.4m).

Unlike conventional ceiling features, both bulkheads were entirely organic in form. Each tier followed a unique spline resembling the fluid outline of a pond or cracked egg — with no straight lines, arcs, or defined radii. This presented a significant challenge for the framing team, as the geometry lacked fixed start or end points.

Our team was engaged for design, 3D CAD, and CNC manufacturing expertise. We developed a system of fire-retardant plywood panels, square on three sides and CNC-cut to the organic shape on the fourth. This approach allowed framers to align straight outer edges, with the freeform geometry naturally emerging along the inner edge. Over 100 unique panels were produced.

Additional complexity included the tight vertical spacing — just 80mm between tiers. To resolve this, we laminated strips of fire-retardant plywood into precise risers. These were further detailed to accommodate design requirements: the second tier featured a continuous 3" shelf to house integrated lighting, while the third tier incorporated strategic openings for air return to the plenum.

The prefabricated panelized system enabled rapid on-site installation, with both bulkheads completed in only a matter of days. By removing guesswork and delivering precision-cut assemblies, our scope transformed an otherwise unbuildable organic design into an efficient, achievable installation.
